Description

The Simply XPS Overlay Boards are one of the most popular underfloor heating overlay systems, offering a low-profile solution for retrofit and renovation projects where screeding is not practical. Designed to be installed directly onto existing floors, these robust, high-density XPS insulation boards provide excellent heat distribution and thermal performance while keeping floor build-up to a minimum.

The foil-faced polystyrene construction improves heat retention and system efficiency, helping to maximise heat output and reduce heat loss. Suitable for use with 16mm underfloor heating pipe, the boards are available with 150mm or 200mm pipe centres to suit your project requirements.

Engineered wood and laminate flooring can be installed directly over the boards. For tiled floor finishes, Simply UFH tile backer boards can be used to create a suitable substrate for direct tiling.

Installation is quick and straightforward. The boards are fixed to the existing subfloor using diluted PVA adhesive or spray carpet adhesive before the underfloor heating pipe is installed.
